The LSFMD has responded to a lot of incidents that were some not easy to handle and other easy. The Department goal is to have a safe living environment and therefore created their own motto  : " Know what your dealing with "

The LSFMD provide all recruits with a required training. To ensure all Fire/ EMS know what their doing and what to expect every day, they must be ready for it.
